Common Stories, Common Ground

We believe that forgiveness is potentially a “lost virtue” in today’s world.

Conversations about forgiveness, which have traditionally taken place in homes and at communal gatherings, are virtually absent from public spaces. This absence undermines a commitment to community. Our research team seeks to explore forgiveness as it is perceived, struggled with, and acted out by everyday people.

Our hope is to recover these conversations and open new arenas for dialogue.

We welcome you to enter the conversation by reading others’ stories and sharing your own!
